Financial Institutions
|
Great American Advisors® is a leading provider of investment,
insurance, annuities and retirement planning services to community banks. Your customers'
needs for financial services are as diverse as the hundreds of firms competing for their
business. For many institutions, partnering with GAA has proven a key strategy in crossing
traditional boundaries to provide alternative financial services to their clients.
|
Compliance Support
|
Our compliance department has an extensive background in the financial
institution and insurance regulatory arena and is especially responsive to meet your
compliance needs. Our staff is available for advertising review, advice about compliance
issues and to answer your questions.
|
Compliance Manual
|
| |
Comprehensive manual created by internal Compliance Officers,
formerly with the OCC and FDIC, contains the necessary pieces to assist
your institution in developing a compliance program. The manual serves as
a handy reference guide for program personnel to use while monitoring day-to-day
activities.
|
Pre-audit Preparation Review
|
| |
Our regional support staff and compliance staff works with our financial institution partners
to prepare them for audits conducted by outside regulatory agencies.
|
OSJ Supervision
|
| |
It is not a requirement of GAA that OSJ supervision duties be performed at
the branch level. The OSJ duties will be provided by the GAA Home Office,
which is an NASD Registered Office of Supervisory Jurisdiction.
|
Branch Office Audits
|
| |
As a registered NASD branch, GAA will provide a member of our staff to audit
your branch for NASD and financial institution compliance. The on-site audit
will include reviews of your customer files, program files, advertising and
signage, and office procedures.
|
Timely Advertising Review
|
| |
We understand how important quick turnaround on advertising approvals
can be to your program. GAA is committed to responding to advertising
reviews in a timely manner.
